- Oiling your shredder prolongs the life of the unit. The SEM High Viscosity Oil in a quart bottle is for use with SEM Heavy Volume Shredders. A case comes with 12 quart bottles. The great thing about this Oiling System is that it does all the work for you and knows exactly when the shredder needs oiling.
