It is recommended that shredding wheels be oiled for every 30 minutes of operation for cross-cut shredders and for every hour of operation for strip-cut models.

Oiling your shredder prolongs the life of the unit. The High Viscosity Gallon Oil is for use with the LK Automatic Oiling Systems and Built-In Automatic Oiling Systems. Simply place the cap and straw on the gallon and attach it to your oiler. The great thing about this Oiling System is that it does all the work for you and knows exactly when the shredder needs oiling.
