ABOUT THE SEM MODEL 244/4 SHREDDER
Get rugged performance in a quiet system. Great for mid-size department use. The most popular NSA listed High Security Shredder available from SEM. The model 244/4 produces a particle size of 0.8mm x 5mm and is listed on the NSA/CSS 02-01 Evaluated Products List for High Security Paper Shredders.
The 244/4 Bundled Solution comes standard with a "Factory Installed Automatic Oiler" with a ONE GALLON plastic jug that is "easy" to replace with the "quick disconnect" feature. No pouring to fill messy oil reservoirs. The easy to install Oil Bracket can be positioned on either side or the back of the shredder depending on your space requirements and desire.
The 244/4 also comes with a Premium "BUNDLED" Starter Kit consisting of a case of oil (2 One Gallon Jugs) and a case (50) of waste collection bags.-

Safety Protection System
A comprehensive safety package that ensures optimum safety. Consists of an SPS (Safety Protection System), an Electronically Controlled safety flap in the feed opening to prevent fingers and ties from entering the cutting area; Auto reverse and power cut-off to avoid paper jams; Bag full and door ajar auto shut down.
Energy Savings Mode
Integrated ESM (Energy Saving Mode) to automatically shut down the system after 30 minutes of non use. Double motor protection against overheating and insulation for noise reduction. Cabinets made from recycled wood materials.
Electronic Capacity Control
LEDs provide a visual indication of in-feed sheet capacity being utilized to help prevent overfeeding and paper jams.
Easy Switch
Ergonomic multi-function switch with intelligent controls and illuminated symbols for operational status of the shredder.
