- I see that the auto oiler is optional. Does the Intimus 602cc shredder need an oiler and if so what does it do?
- Thank you for your question regard the 602cc auto oiler. The auto oiler is an option for the 602cc. The oiler helps keep cross-cut shredders running clean and at peak efficiency by pumping oil only when shredder is running. This is a great addition to any shredder and will help to prolong the life of your shredder. The oiler also takes the guessing work out of, "when was this last oiled."
